Sandeep Duggal, Chief Executive Officer
Sandeep Duggal has served as the CEO of Extron since 2000. As CEO, he is responsible for setting and executing company strategy, business development and overall company performance.
Prior to joining Extron, Mr. Duggal held various operations and materials management positions at Sun Microsystems, Inc. He also worked in marketing at Intel Corp in Hillsboro, OR and as a strategy consultant at Monitor Company in Cambridge, MA.
Mr. Duggal holds an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, a graduate degree in Industrial Engineering/Engineering Management from Stanford University and a MBA (with distinction) from The Harvard Business School, Harvard University.
Mahyar Irani, Chief Financial Officer
Mahyar Irani has served as the CFO of Extron since 2000. As CFO he has successfully managed and grown the business to a US base of more than 200 employees and a current annual shipment of more than one billion dollars in product.
His prior experience includes various distinguished financial positions in the tech arena. He was the CEO of Silicon Park Financial Services, a financial services and consulting firm that specializes in small and medium sized businesses including high-tech startups.
Mr. Irani has a B.S. in Business and Accounting and an M.S. in Business from the University of Bombay, as well as a M.S. in Operations Research from Stanford University.
Kien Nguyen, Vice President of Operations
Kien Nguyen is the Vice President of Operations at Extron and is responsible for all of the inventory management, conversion and distribution operations of the company.
Mr. Nguyen has an extensive background in printed circuit board assembly and ERP software. He has been with Extron since 1983, first as an electronics technician, then as production manager, warehouse manager and PCB Assembly Manager. Prior to Extron, Mr. Nguyen worked as an electronics technician at Larse Corp in Santa Clara, CA for five years.
Mark Lyell, Vice President of Business Development
Mark Lyell joined Extron in 2008 to oversee sales and marketing and lead efforts on strategic initiatives within Extron. For the past 20 years, Mr. Lyell has held various executive positions in sales and marketing, program management and operations at companies such as Pragmatech, Sigmatron International and ACT Manufacturing. Mark has been published in numerous trade publications and is a frequent speaker at trade conferences. Mark also has several technology patents filed with the US Patent Office. He studied Business Administration at California State University, Hayward and Mechanical Engineering at Master’s Institute of Technology, Santa Clara.
James Bell, Director Client Solutions
James Bell has been providing supply chain management and customer solutions with an emphasis on customer satisfaction, program development, quality systems, world-class manufacturing, distribution and information systems development and implementation for more than 28 years.
Mr. Bell has extensive experience in supply chain design, implementation and management, operations, quality management (ISO2000, COPC, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing), process engineering and logistics.
Prior to joining Extron, Mr. Bell held various management and executive positions at RR Donnelley, Stream, Modus Media, iLogistics, SalesLink, and ModusLink.
